Hank Williams Jr. will return to Monday Night Football this season. He will once again do the opening of ‘Are you ready for some football?’ Six year ago ESPN fired Williams because of remarks he made about President Obama but they now say that bygones are bygones. During an interview with Nashville’s daily newspaper, the singer spoke with rarely-seen enthusiasm about coming back and mentioned nothing of the controversy.
